As stated on our HOME page, the goal of Householder Lifestyle Consulting is to use the stewardship principles of hospitality, organization, and professionalism as a framework for bringing success to your small business, personal household, and to your House of Worship / Non-Profit. After years of experience in the private, corporate, and non-profit areas, we determined that hospitality, organization, and professionalism were age-old keys to success. This knowledge, in combination with the teachings of Proverbs 31 and Matthew 13, led to the seed that has grown into Householder Lifestyle Consulting, LLC.
In the past, a householder was a good steward entrusted with the power to keep the everyday workings of a house smooth and orderly. The householder needed to be hospitable, organized, and professional for the purpose of keeping the house running properly. Householder Lifestyle Consulting, LLC is built on these foundational values of the householder.
Householder Lifestyle Consulting, LLC began in April of 2005 as a sole proprietorship under Krista L. Rugh. In July of 2007 Kristina A. Rugh was added as a partner. HLC would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Krista and Kristina.
Krista L. Rugh is a 1992 graduate of Grove City College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. She is a seasoned professional in the Private Club Industry with 19 years of experience, 14 in senior management. Her belief is a top-rate experience begins and ends with the quality of hospitality provided. Her journey in the Private Club Industry began at the tender age of 16. Krista is one of the fortunate people who found her passion early in life and over the years of high school and college used this time to absorb the necessities and intangibles that bring quality to a business. She combined her love of Accounting and her Private Club Industry experience and began her professional career in 1993 as an Office Manager at a 450 member Private Country Club. In addition, she has served in this industry as a Controller and an Assistant General Manager, Chief of Operations, as well as Consultant. She has conducted seminars within the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) and is a member of Hospitality Financial and Technical Professionals (HFTP). Feel free to email Krista@yourhlc.com.
